CAMA Robot Coffee Insert

It's no surprise that CAMA's newest customized robotic coffee application is turning heads. CAMA, a leader in secondary packaging, has the ability to design lines with an extremely high-tech reliability ratio.

For this application, 15 instant coffee cups are packed into a hexagonal carton. The cups are accumulated and placed into a multiple-pocket conveyor ready to be picked up by the CAMA triple-axis robot. The addition of a third rotating axis allows for alternative motion when inserting groups of cups into the electronic cartoning machine. The versatility and efficiency of the triple axis robot makes it economically attractive as well.

Each and every CAMA robot is designed in house ensuring thorough research and development. Harpak, Inc. is the exclusive North American distributor of CAMA secondary packaging equipment.

CAMA also offers high-speed case packers, cartoners and sleevers. For more information, visit our website: www.harpak.com.

Innovative TFFS Reduces Costs

The ability to run heavy gauge material on thermoform/fill/seal (TFFS) equipment is now more important than ever before. More and more manufacturers are switching from pre-formed trays to TFFS in an attempt to reduce costs. Hooper Engineering, Inc. recognizes this trend and has developed a zoned radiant heating system that complements food, medical and industrial applications. Hooper's N2500/SS runs 50 mil thick rubber modified HIPS at 12-14 cycles per minute.

Hooper Medical Applications

Heating options from single zone upper radiant heaters to 36 zone sandwich radiant pre-heaters are also available. The key to successfully running heavier gauge material is to heat it evenly before forming. Multiple zones allow the user to evenly control heat penetration which creates a more uniform flow of material. One customer recently achieved a 35% reduction in packaging costs by switching to Hooper. Hooper Engineering is a division of Harpak. more info or back to top.
