PISTON FILLER (VF/SPM PISTON FILLER)

This doser type VF/SPM is suitable for dosing liquid and semi-liquid products containing solid pieces up to .5" Cubed. For example; soups, stew, chili, meat sauce, tomato sauce, macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, ricotta & fillings.

 

The unit is composed of:

• Special dosing valve with pneumatic control to cut pieces of vegetables or meat which can stick in the valve, sealed to avoid dripping.
• Piston to adjust filling volume.
• Adjustable speed motor to increase or reduce the speed depending upon product consistency.
• Product hopper.
• Level control and product call probes.
• Auger to keep the product in suspension.
• No tray - no filling detector.
• Control panel.
• The hopper can also be double jacketed to maintain the temperature of a hot product.
• The hopper is heated by heating element with thermal oil circulation, where a thermostat controls the temperature.
• Structure and all parts in contact with the product are in stainless steel AISI 304/ L.
